What you need to do for a mobile compatible website;

Mobile-first indexing means determining search results on mobile pages. In the SEO analysis, if the mobile version of your site is useless, slow or incomplete, there will be loss of ranking and negative results. We have shared with you the tactics and strategies you need to apply to be higher in mobile rankings in the mobile SEO guide;

  • Your site needs to load resources for all devices. Each user should be presented with a presentation suitable for the device they use (Mobile, desktop, tablet).
  • Resizing text and images for each device with responsive design
  • Full display of your site on the mobile version without hiding the content
  • High speed loading of your pages as mobile users expect
  • Have working internal links and referrals
  • Have an optimized UX for any device your visitors use (you will find the question of what is UX in our next topic)
  • When serving content dynamically, the URL used should be the same for mobile and desktop. However, different HTML/CSS should be shown to each user depending on the device they are using.
  • A simple and plain design
  • Using browser cache
  • Site architecture to facilitate navigation
  • Content is easy to read and not too long

AMP Usage ( Accelerated Mobile Pages )

In short, AMP is Google's way of keeping your pages in its own cache and loading them quickly without sending a request to the server. However, Google imposes some restrictions on websites while doing this.

It allows AMP application provided you use the HTML, CSS and JS codes in its own library. Therefore, you can be deprived of using the codes you want.

Since the code structure is simplified with AMP, the page loading speed is naturally increased.

Important Tips: Make sure that the dimensions of the images do not take up too much space and pay attention to the use of negative space.

Don't forget to use the viewport meta tag.
